WSBA works under the delegated authority of the Washington Supreme Court to authorize the state`s roughly 40,000 lawyers and other jurists. To reinforce its commitment to protecting and serving the public, the WSBA regulates both lawyers and other legal practitioners and serves as a professional association for its members – all without public funding. The Moderate Means Program (MMP) is a national program designed to fill this gap with lawyers offering discounted assistance in family, housing and consumer rights matters. Your law school would be. Below are the LPO exam day forms. These forms must be downloaded prior to the exam and will be available from July 23 to 26. When filling out the forms, include your applicant ID number only in the header of Word documents. You do not need to include your candidate identification number in a PDF document. A Limited Practice Officer (LPO) is a person authorized by the Supreme Court of Washington under Rule 12 of the Licensing and Practice Rules (APR) of the Supreme Court of Washington. An LPO is authorized to select, prepare and complete the documents approved for the conclusion of a loan, loan extension, sale or other transfer of real estate or personal property. LPOs have a limited license to practice law and are subject to the same care as a lawyer in providing the services permitted by the LPO license.
