Students transferred from a law school must successfully complete or have successfully completed the courses of the first year of study of the UND Faculty of Law and all other compulsory courses, as determined by the Faculty of Law, substantially equivalent courses. All courses not taken, including those deemed non-equivalent, must be completed upon admission to the Young Women Program at the UND Faculty of Law. The student-faculty ratio indicates the number of students for that class per faculty member.

Accommodation and board costs average $8,974 per year.
Students studying at Law School come from a variety of academic backgrounds. While there is no prescribed curriculum for pre-legal studies, faculty expect students to possess the skills necessary for effective oral and written communication. Any undergraduate program that develops these skills and provides rigorous training in analysis and problem-solving in an academic discipline may represent satisfactory pre-legal training. There are two ways to submit your application to AND Law. AND Law accepts applications after a student has successfully completed at least one semester at their current law school. If a student applies for the spring semester transfer, applications will be accepted until November 1.
Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. A final transcript and authorization letter at the end of your second semester are required to complete the transfer process. AND Law ranks #176 in terms of student selectivity with an acceptance rate of 64.0% among those who applied for admission. Are my LSAT and my cumulative bachelor`s grade point average the only parts of my application that will be considered for admission? While your LSAT scores and cumulative undergraduate grade point average are important aspects of your application and are required, the admissions committee will review all components of your application considering the following questions: “Will the applicant successfully study law at the UND Law School?” and “Will the candidate pass the North Dakota Bar exam?” As a result, many factors are considered when reviewing applicants` files.
