Global constitutionalism The research interests of MLitt professors range from Late Antiquity to the present day, with expertise that encompasses innovative global and cosmopolitan approaches, as well as more traditional legal and jurisprudential methods. All education is provided by experts who are actively engaged in legal, constitutional and historical studies. The degree is designed for students with diverse academic backgrounds and career plans. It is designed to prepare students to work outside the MLitt: doctoral research in this field; Law studies; and employment in areas more broadly related to law, legal history, global constitutionalism and international relations. – Students make a lot of contacts during their studies, which can lead to career opportunities after graduation.

Core modules are taught by lecturers from the faculties of history, international relations and beyond. They provide students with knowledge of various theoretical approaches to law, legal history, and constitutionalism, and use the past to question and examine current issues and controversies.
