With roots dating back to the 1960s, Raoul J. LeClerc`s law firm is an integral part of the Oroville community. The firm, now led by attorney Raoul and his daughter Danielle, continues to serve the estate planning needs of clients throughout Butte County. Raoul had the unique pleasure of being supported by his daughter Danielle LeClerc Klein. Danielle has worked as an office worker and paralegal at the law firm for over 30 years. Danielle was born in San Francisco and graduated from California State University, Chico in 1992 with a B.A. in Information and Communication Science. She obtained her paralegal certification at Chico State after earning her AA from Butte Community College in Legal Office Administration. Blade, Farmer & LeClerc was founded in 1966 by Robert V. Blade, Perry M. Farmer and Raoul J.
LeClerc. Perry M. Farmer died in 1972, Robert V. Blade followed 10 years later. Michel C. LeClerc joined the firm in 1992, but soon left to open his own practice in Redding, California. Since then, Raoul J. LeClerc has continued to provide legal services to existing and new clients of the municipality. During his five decades of practice, Raoul LeClerc has participated in many efforts. He was a professor at Cal Northern School of Law and taught estate planning and taxation from 1999 to 2014.
In the 1970s, he served on the California State Bar on the Executive Council, the Conference of Lawyers, and the Executive Committee of the Conference of Delegates. He also served as an active officer in the U.S. Army who was released as a captain. Since 1982, Raoul has served on the Board of Directors of the Butte County Law Library. His passion for law sparked his interest in ensuring that Butte County has one of the largest law libraries north of Sacramento, providing resources to the local legal community and the public.
