I used Apex Law to sell my home and buy my new home starting in spring 2021, which will be completed by the end of September. Like many transfer processes, it hasn`t been without its challenges, but Shelsea Waldock Conveyancer & Assistant to Phil May CEO/Director, with whom I have dealt throughout the time, has been great. She was professional, hardworking, considerate and understanding, and someone who was aware of how stressful the process can be. I felt in good hands, which was a relief. There were a number of law firms involved in the chain, and I can say without hesitation that Shelsea shone among them. She is a true role model in her profession. Thank you for everything you have done. Their attitude and approach made all the difference. You may want to discover a company with an established and proven reputation on ReviewSolicitors Absolutely the worst experience that no one answers you, you have to hunt and more crudely, please do not use it. We were also waiting for documents 6 months later, we sat there for months, although they were told that they had not been received and that they were now being sent.
Stay clear Excellent communication from the promoter (Tom Brewer) throughout the process, I would give them more stars if I could. When we decided to buy our first home, everyone warned us that suing your lawyers is a no-brainer and be prepared to stay with them all the time. When we were recommended to try Apex Law Bexleyheath, I was prepared for it. But this could not have been further from the truth. Shelsea and Phil May were nothing but prepared and easily accessible. I didn`t have to chase them away once. We had a lot of trouble during the process due to a larger chain, but Apex was fast and efficient. The documents were sent immediately. They were easily accessible. At no time was the channel waiting for our lawyers. Apex Law wasn`t just our lawyers, they were with us every step of the way and I can`t recommend them enough to anyone. You really have that personal touch, you`re not just another customer.
I will have absolutely no doubt about being there again! Thank you for all your hard work Phil and Shelsea and the whole team, we are settling in well in our new home! 😊 I wish I could give less than one star. Almost 4 months since submitting my Rehypothek application and I have not received any communication from anyone in the company. I call constantly, I am transferred and I cannot get in touch with the person allegedly involved in our application. The initial process was handled by a Ryan Allen and I continued it for about 2 months with almost no response. Only to learn that it was transmitted to Ismail Gozde. I have been trying to reach Ismail since February, and yet no response or recognition from him. I just dropped off the phone at the Rainham and Bexleyheath offices without success or solution. I asked for Ismail`s email address and it was not provided. I have since emailed Ryan requesting a refund as we no longer want to use their service. Still no answer.
The worst type of customer service is to be ignored and not hold the service provider accountable. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! Unfortunately, Apex Abs Limited does not currently accept new customers through ReviewSolicitors. To help you get expert legal advice as soon as possible, one of our employees can recommend another highly rated law firm that accepts new clients and forwards your request to them. They will then contact you to confirm your appointment. We will also send you an email with the details of the new company. You can call (626) 282-1122 or visit these lawyers at 923 E Valley Blvd San Gabriel, CA 91776. Find the right lawyer for your legal case! Professional, friendly, approachable, helpful, impartial, trustworthy lawyers. I used for selling and buying homes several times, whenever it was stress-free and properly explained and completed without any problems. Very happy that Kelly and his team were amazing with the help of our home purchase, Tom was always available if I had any questions. He always responded quickly to emails with clear and concise answers. If I could give them 0, then I would. If you hunt every day and you never want to get an update after they said they would call you back, then these are the people for you.
Avoid at all costs and pay extra elsewhere for someone who is competent. They are useless! My husband and I used Apex Law for an incredibly difficult purchase. Tom Brewer was incredibly professional, thorough and responsive. He made a very difficult purchase much smoother and less stressful and worked tirelessly to make sure we were ready on time. Thank you for all your hard work! I would definitely use Apex Law again! I sold my father`s apartment at auction with Apex Law as lawyers. I felt quite nervous because I had never walked this path before. Everything from start to finish was very professional and efficient. Everything that was needed was explained and emailed (I`m not sure my dad would have been able to handle the electronic side of things, but that`s the way of the world these days) Great service from start to finish. Thank you very much. Throughout the process, I received good advice and the speed of Marina`s responses and actions was excellent.
Marina is the most diligent lawyer I have ever met. It always responds quickly and efficiently to emails and provides up-to-date information on how the transaction is going. Marina is a great asset to Apex Law and I highly recommend working with her. He`s a star! They never respond to emails until they need your documents to make a purchase or sale. Suggest NOT to use their service. Better to find another one unless you want to be laughed at!!! San Francisco (Main Office) 180 Howard St. San Francisco, CA 94105 415-538-2000 Los Angeles 845 P. Figueroa St. Los Angeles, CA 90017-2515 213-765-1000. These are the worst lawyers I`ve used, first they don`t answer calls 10 times different times different days are passed as soon as I`m going to ask someone to call you back, obviously they don`t have dialing facilities, it could be the same with broadband, they can`t answer an email after digging a lot to find my lawyer, was not there .nice of them to tell me if you want to do something Give this lot a wide bow and go to someone else I highly recommend this shop.
The staff were very responsive, professional and worth every penny. My sale went quickly and with great care and attention. Those who worked on my case were very friendly and always took the time to keep me informed. 5 star service! That`s what our clients say about working with Apex Law. (Lawyers and law firms, general practitioners) We were recommended by our real estate agent Apex to handle our home sale. The sales page with Tom Brewer went very well and he was very, very responsive. However, he wasn`t able to help us buy a new property, so he passed the matter on to his colleague Kelly Stewart. The first red flag should have been when I didn`t get any contact from Kelly after two weeks and the real estate agent followed her at the end and contacted us. I was then called by Charlie who sent me a quote, which we immediately accepted to get things done.
We heard nothing for two weeks. I followed Charlie and asked him what was going on, and he assured me that the matter was in his hands. After a few more weeks of nothing, we involved the real estate agent again and received new customer documents; As if they hadn`t treated us before. We really should have run at that time, because it went from bad to absolutely terrible very quickly. Phone calls and emails were ignored, received no response, or were repelled by vague platitudes. Kelly was sometimes too friendly or strangely abrupt and rude when we managed to put her on the phone; It was like talking to two different people and it was very disturbing. The case dragged on for months without getting anywhere. After my second complaint, the director, Phil May, took over. He initially seemed interested in helping us progress, but then things seemed to slide again and we felt very fuzzy about what was going on and what was exceptional.
At one point, I wrote a long complaint to the real estate agent, as they had recommended it in the first place, suggesting that they might not want to continue their connection. This complaint was forwarded to Phil, who then accused me of defamation (a lawyer should surely know that the written word is slander – another red flag) and basically made me apologize for hurting his feelings before he continued to work with us. He didn`t really manage to progress, and it was only the involvement of our IFA that brought us to the point where we were able to exchange and conclude. Even the completion process was a strange affair where we didn`t hear from them until almost 5pm to say we could take the keys. Luckily, our seller made us move into the property much earlier in the day, so we didn`t have to pay any extra moving expenses, but I`m cynical enough to think it was a deliberate trick from Apex to make our move a little more difficult after “hurting their feelings.” We found that part of the delay was due to the fact that my name had been misspelled on several documents in different ways, as well as a wrong address that we had corrected several times with them.
