Alpha Legal Tech
Software engineers perform alpha testing or alpha testing to test the preliminary software field for errors. The goal of alpha testing is to improve the software product by detecting bugs not detected in previous tests. We represent emerging companies, especially in technology-supported industries. There you go. We have developed automation and other technological tools and rely on compliance with their legal requirements. We do not represent individuals, non-profit organizations, service companies, investors, multinational conglomerates, etc. Innovation is not (only) technology; It is the reconfiguration of people, processes and technologies to gain competitive advantages. We work with companies that have evolving business models primarily in technology sectors such as healthcare informatics, medical devices, therapies, advanced materials, software, mobile games and applications, financial technology, and commercial software-as-a-service applications. Our clients range from a few founders in a start-up to companies with more than 1000 employees. However, our ideal point is companies that have between 10 and 200 employees. Our clients are located in the United States and some are in Europe, but most are in the Upper Midwest.
has been working in legal practice for over two years. He completed his legal internship at Clifford Chance and has been with the firm since 2017. He was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2017. The launch of CompareNow follows the recent start of the pilot phase of a state-of-the-art Robotics Training Program Automation Academy, also via Create+65. The program was created in collaboration with Josef, a “next generation” legal automation platform that allows lawyers to create bots. The Create+65 Innovation Lab was established with the support of the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and in collaboration with the Future Law Innovation Programme (FLIP) of the Singapore Academy of Law. Our clients include law firms, NewLaw law firms, legal technology firms, publicly traded law firms, corporate legal services, government agencies and Big Four consulting firms. Our work includes commitments to innovation, strategy and technology with clients around the world. Shawn Tan, co-founder of Alpha LegalTech, said: “We believe that true innovation is simple – applying the right solutions to the right problems. The positive response from Clifford Chance`s lawyers is a testament to our direct approach to Legaltech. My clients are often small and medium-sized tech companies, from the “ideas” phase to clients who may have raised a round or three of capital and need to clean up a messy capitalization table. I help with all the growth-related legal issues that keep founders up at night – hiring people, allocating equity, dealing with shareholders and investors, negotiating with clients, and getting early litigation advice (before you need a litigator).
I`ve seen a lot of things, and because I run my own business, I understand the concerns that keep you up at night. I`ve been through the “startup issues” that will inevitably happen as you grow, both alone and through other customers – and I`m here to help. I have over 20 years of international experience in developing and implementing strong corporate law strategies and governance for large multinationals. I now focus on start-ups and technology companies in the start-up and mid-term phase in order to create a solid legal foundation for your successful business. Many of my clients are international with holding companies or presences based in the United States. My 17 years abroad help me “translate” between different regimes and even bring together civil and common law lawyers. I regularly manage seed financings, including convertible bonds, seeds and Series A/B financings; commercial and technological contracts; international transactions; taxes; Mergers and acquisitions. CHALLENGE: A transaction team from an international law firm wanted to identify the most contentious issues that could arise during negotiations on certain legal documents. APPROACH: We reviewed the information available to each team member individually and collectively, conducted a data discussion exercise, and proposed a solution that uses the available data in new ways. RESULT: In collaboration with an AI partner specializing in legal language processing, we proposed a software dashboard capable of providing information on these contentious issues. Working with Start Software since 2010, Dan is a software developer specializing in Alpha Anywhere development. Dan is the lead developer of alpha tracker asbestos software and our software for the legal services industry.
Our consultants meet with clients at the beginning of a case to agree on the best use of technology and continue to advise them on best practices in case management related to documents and technology. At Alpha LegalTech, our solutions can be easily adapted to your existing workflow to streamline your legal practice and enable you to do your best and maximize your profitability. Kai-Niklas Schneider, Managing Partner of Singapore, said: “The launch of CompareNow builds on our continued commitment to contributing to Singapore`s ecosystem of collaboration and innovation in the legal sector.
